Sorry for the long pause. Mom had a rough night last night with her heart rate being elevated again. As far as I know they still don't know what is causing that. She is also having terrible heartburn, so Gretchen asked for something (she knew the drugs name) and now they have that in her IV. But she also has Tums handy in case she ever needs them.
She is eating good now that we can fill out her menu for her and we don't have to just wait and see what they bring us. She went for a CT scan and something else today but they don't have any results from that yet.
Adrienne is looking into a few more rehabs today and then Gretchen is heading back up north. Tomorrow will be a long day for Adrienne but then I will be there again Monday to provide some relief. Then Gretchen, Megan, and Gordon are coming back on Tuesday so maybe we will have a little mini Christmas at the hospital. I don't think we can sneak her out for this one. (We did that one time when we were younger and mom was in the hospital on Easter. We brought her some clothes and snuck her down a back stairway.)
