Many tears have been shed in our family, tears of sorrow, tears of joy, but mostly tears of laughter. These tears have gotten us through everything life has given us. So through our tears in losing our mommy we have shared our laughter as we remember all of the happiness she gave us.
We invite you to share in our celebration of her life. We will be gathering for a memorial dinner on Friday, January 4, 2008 at Angelo's Brothers at 6:00 please join us and bring a story to contribute. RSVPs at pylevh@aol.com would be appreciated. Those of you with stories to share that are unable to attend please send it to us either in the comments or in an email again at pylevh@aol.com and we will display them at the memorial.
We would like to thank you for your comments and support as we dealt with everything these past few weeks. Through the wonder of technology we were given instant access to your love and encouragement, words can not express what these meant to us.
We look forward to seeing everyone on Friday.

Aunt Pile!!! As I got older she finally told me she did not like that name and to call her Aunt Paulette, ( I have been calling her that since well, FOREVER) so Aunt Pile (hahahahah) I love you and my life long memory of you will always be of you holding Sarah at 3 yrs old in the pool at Longboat Key on vacation. (now this was the age that I had to tell Sarah who everyone is, so....) Aunt Paulette is playing with Sarah and I in the pool and Sarah asks me "who is she" and I said "Aunt Pile" and of course Aunte Paulette corrected me and said "no, I am your Aunt Paulette"... To me she will always be my "Aunt Pile". So today when Sarah asked me why I was sad and I told her that Aunt Pile, Nana's sister passed away, she told me, "no you mean Aunt Paulette, the lady in the pool from vacation" and I said "yes" what else do you say? Sarah is only six and has not seen her in two years and knows exactly who Paulette is! She has such a positive impact on peoples lives!
Sarah wanted me to tell you she is sorry and Aunt Paulette is with God and her turtle!
Love and prayers to all!

What a cute story, Krista. I did write a eulogy to Paulette, but I didn't want to read it. If someone else could, or if you just want to post it, that would be great. I'll email it to Paulette's email site. I'll see you this afternoon.
My fondest memories of Aunt Paulette are the summer vacations at Longboat Key. She was always so fun loving and care free. One summer she taught me how to play nickels. I also remember how she used to drive for hours to find a good place to play BINGO. I will miss looking out my balcony and seeing her floating in the pool wearing her floppy hat next to my mom and Aunt Rita. I think we can all learn something from her. Enjoy life, love your family and respect each other. Here's to you Aunt Paulette.
I forgot to tell you who I am. Please add my name to the previous comment.

Dear Kathy, Gretchen, Erika and Adrienne. I will miss your Mom's presence when we all gather together for family reunions, she was always a pleasure to be with and a very fun loving person. She had a lot of tradgedies happen to her in her life and I was glad that I was around for one huge one when it happened. I will never forget her look on her face when I told her how much she was loved. She hugged me and thanked me from the bottom of her heart.
She loved her close family and her extended family I could almost feel it. What a great feeling.
She is now out of pain and that is what we all should be thnkful for. I am.
I will be in Detroit to honor her and to hopefully support the girls she loved so much, on Wednesday about 3:30 PM, on United Airlines. See you soon.

This comes a little late because I just found the web site. I lived with Paulette for one school year at Siena Heights in Adrian. She was a picky eater and I loved to go home with her to Allen Park because her mom (Alberta) was such a good cook. And she liked to have me come because I liked her food. We lost touch as our families grew and grew up and we had so many other thing to do and places to go. I have very fond memories of her. Pat Kehoe.
