Mom just underwent a "small" procedure. Right here in her room, the surgeon, Dr. Jacobs, lanced her right clavicle area that has been swollen and bothersome, and removed over 8cc's of puss. They say they froze it but mom says it hurt anyways. But she does notice a difference is the relief of pressure after they were finished. Dr. Soo (her initial surgeon from October) came in earlier this evening and drew some out for a culture, we should have the results of that by Monday. Hopefully that will give us a clue as to what this is and where it came from, whether it is related to the infection in her back or something else all together.
Other than that the only pain she has been complaining of is a headache.
BTW When this is all said and done, there will be a test of all Dr.'s names and responsibilities.

I will sooo fail that test, and I have met most of them. I can't believe they did that right in her hospital bed and so late at night.
