I got here around 3:30 ish and mom slept soundly while Aunt Rita and I stared at each other for a good couple of hours. Right after she left mom started mumbling. She has been mumbling off and on for about 4.5 hours. She has recited her entire will (nope, I'm not tellin'), and has given all the info for the great grandbaby's Gerber insurance policies, including policy numbers. WHo knew she could be lucid without actually being lucid.
She has a pretty uneventful turn and wipe down, and as soon as I got her soundly sleeping again, they decided to bring in some meds. So once again she is mumbling and keeping both me and her room mate awake.
