Got a late start watching my tapes because I played poker till the wee hours. Of my $20.00 start I got down to 0 and found out how they play the charity part. You are still dealt into every game and can bet when its your turn but you just don't have to put any money in. I don't know if there is a rule about no raising but even when I had a good hand I felt it was just wrong to raise when I wasn't putting anything at stake. I won the last two games of the night and recouped $11.15 on the evening. Still cheaper than bingo. No TEDs tho.
The Mommy's were supposed to be Daddy's this week but instead they are re-running the first pair of Mommys (Mommies?) Free's up a little of my time.
I'm glad A didn't have any takers in her little ally shopping trip. The person who survives elimination will not be beholden to her or her group.
I'm glad to see schmeerna out of the race. I would like to believe its not because of her size. They were pretty nasty pieces of work in any case. Watching them all eat the eggs I remembered who would have been my perfect racing partner. Wouldn't Bill have been awsome at that stuff. And he could have pushed my wheelchair, or carried me around in necessary. This game came along too late.
I got the Bravo channel in time to see Roddik win his match against Tommy Haas. Boy it was a cliffhanger though.

I got to watch Race last night and I was very happy to see Mirna go. I don't think I have disliked this many couples in the game before. I have wanted the dating christians out since day one, now I want Colin out, and I want the twins out. The only acceptable people to win now are Chip and Kim or the Bowling Moms.
I just watched BB while feeding Jackson at lunch and I want Adria gone. True Marvin goaded her into it, but saying that God played a role in her nominations is just disgusting. I am glad they didn't show the daddies since I missed the show completely. Make sure you remind me when it is going to be on. I discovered that we don't get whatever station is playing the Amish show. I found it in the TVG but could not find it on the TV (this was last week).

I saw that Survivor was going to start on the 16th and for a minute thought they might interfere with BB and AR but they are all on the same network so we're alright.

Erika it is so good to read your comments. My thoughts exactly. I have 'discussing' this with my daughters both of whom think A is great and like the Christian couple and Collin the egotistical punk. I love the way Chip and Kim are enjoying themselves and taking advantage of the opportunity to visit and not just pass through. They have enthused over every location, but to stop and eat watermelon last night instead of just grabbing a receipt and running off was great. And still made it in first.
I was dismayed to see the mommies throu their lot in the the smeernas, since I wanted the smeernas out and was afraid they could outrace the mommies. But it was a smart decision on their part, the smeernas have been great at continuing to look for better flights and not just sticking with the first one they find. Out of the two smeernas the 'little' one was twice as good as the 'normal' one, she did every task - not to prove anything - but because the 'normal' one kept saying "I can't", the terful goodbye was a bit much though.
Okay I should go to my own post and put something in.
What kind of poker?
the poker was "dealer's choice" nickle, dime. I introduced a game from my old pokering days that we called Chicago and it turned out to be very popular with the group. Another one of the most popular and frequently played ones was "Jacks or better to open, three of a kind to win" a five card draw that continues with a re-anti when nobody gets at least three of a kind. I also made up a new one on the spot that I called "double draw". A five card draw that allowed one to draw three cards the first time around and have another chance to draw two more cards. Since there were only 5 of us playing that worked out. Wouldn't work with a larger crowd tho.
Taking the word "games" out let me get through. A firewall is when a site is blocked based upon content. In the district anything related to games or sexual words are blocked. Adam said on Monday that he had a feeling the Schmeernas were going down. I of course said you';re crazy cuz they have always been in the top 3. I definately liked the little one over the so called normal one. She did anything that was asked without a moments hesitation, remember her carrying that side of beef. She could be an Amazon woman. But her cousin was jsut a wicked woman. The consensus in our house is also Chip and Kim or the mommies except for Mel, she still likes Colin and his partner. She also still likes A but we all agree that Will should go home tomorrow!
