The olympics are pretty lame tonight. Anything of interest was already shown this afternoon. So I have been going back and forth among the Little League World Series and other shows that I am already taping. I saw Adria ask Drew to promise to use the Veto if he won it. Was she not there when she heard him promise to Jase that he would not use it? Its really stupid to ask a promise from someone you know breaks them.
I'm also watching some WSOP. Since I go back and forth most of the time or I'm reading and only look up when they are actually playing a hand I never did hear an explanation for the Big Blind and the Small Blind. Every once in a while I hear them say "He's playing from the small blind so he may as well call."
I looks like next week they are really going to do the daddys on the mommie show. They are running two shows back to back next Tuesday. I'll have more comments after I watch my tapes.

The blinds are forced bets to increase the odds of a hand being played. The person to the left of the dealer puts in the small blind 1/2 the minimum bet, the person to his left puts in the large blind, the minimum bet. Play begins with the person to the left of the large blind, this player has the option to call the large blind, raise, or fold, and so on. When it gets to the person with the small bind if no one has raised he already has 1/2 the amount in and so is only risking 1/2 as much again if he wants to play the hand.
I have 8 hours of Olympics and 4 hours of poker and 3 hours of mommies, BB, and AR to watch still. Good thing most of the Olympics are replays.
The Olympics were lame last night. What the heck is with is Gymnasticscapades? Let those athletes go out and watch other athletes now that their sport is done. I hope that Rulon wins but I certainly never need to see that sport again. Lyle said something like "they used to do this naked" I needed that image in my head.
Tell me exactly when the mommies are on and what channel (I have a better chance of finding it in my TVG if I have a clue where to start).
I missed the whole Race except for the twins not being kicked off (aaarrrgh!!). I will try to watch the whole thing tonight.
The mommies are on Fox on Tuesday at 8:00. The Race is on again on Saturday and really was a good one, showing the two extremes of Chip and Colin. Why one can short pay a taxi driver and the other can not.
Which sport is Rulon in? Is that the Greco Wrestling, because I just fast forwarded through all of that. I really liked the Canadian diver, and felt bad for the Canadian hurdler.
Yes, Rulon is the wrestler. He won in a big upset at the last Olympics and so they are playing him up in this one too.
