I am enjoying the olympic games very much. NBC is saving all the big ticket races to run in prime time but CBC is showing them when they happen. So even though I saw Phelps win his first gold medal at about 2:00 pm this afternoon I was still holding my breath when NBC showed it just now. I'm such a sucker. They said they are going to show the 400m freestyle after this next commercial and I can't wait to see if Thorpe wins it again.
I have been able to go back and forth with the Little League World Series game between Rhode Island and Connecticut too.
Remember when you started to feel old when the professional athletes were all younger than you? Well those Little League players are all younger than Adam.
That's my "feel good" message for today.

I had to leave before the end of the beach volleyball thing. Did the US team win? I know I could go someplace on-line to look it up but I don't care that much.

yes, we won the beach vollyball and canada won their's and that's who we play next. I want them both to win.
After the little league game finished I was able to work the Lion's game into that slot in my channel jumping rotation. In time to watch the Lions try to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Luckily Pittsburgh was having none of that.
