Racing horses, OK. Jumping horses, OK. But dancing horses. That's not a sport that's a circus act. I couldn't believe I was watching a horse dance to George Gershwin tunes. It was just sad.
Then the triathalon. The Australian girl did a tremendous job. She was leading all the way then at the last 30 seconds she was passed by the Austrian girl who got the gold medal and the Australian had to settle for silver. But, gee, the gold medalist was Australian, she was just on the Austrian team because she couldn't get on the Australian team. What??
That's like when Miss Taiwan won the Miss Universe contest only it turns out that Miss Taiwan was born and raised in Las Angeles.

It’s sort of like racing swimmers OK, diving swimmers OK, but synchronized swimmers, that’s a circus act.
I used to really like synchronized swimming but they move so fast now its hard to know how anybody can follow what they're doing enough to score them. Its like watching Michael Jackson dance. How can you tell if he's any good or not when you can't tell what he's doing. Could it just be that my following reflexes have slowed down? Poor Rulan is out.
I spoke too soon about poor Rulan. I forgot that when he was defeated in the quartersemihemi-finals he still had a chance in the Bronze Medal match, which he won.
I haven't seen any synchronized swimming, but I did catch a little bit more of Rulon. I would have settled to seeing the medal being awarded.
