I got delusions of youth this weekend. Not young youth, just my early 60s youth. It doesn't seem like that long ago that I could do a 48 hour casino stint with hardly any sleep and still carry on with my life. Keeping in mind that my life is pretty sedentary. But Saturday night, after two casino's and after walking out on a terrible movie (Monster-in-Law) I was wiped out. About 9 PM I couldn't even sit up in my chair. My body was screaming "Are you trying to kill us? Go lay down old lady." So I did.
So next time you youngsters decide to pull an all-nighter don't even tell me about it because I will have forgotten how old I am and want to go with.

Marisa and I saw Monster-In-Law this weekend and haven't laughed that hard in a long time! What was so horrible?
Maybe the fact that I can't stand Jennifer Lopez colored my enjoyment. I saw everything she did as stupid. Didn't realize she was in it till we got there. The only redeeming factor was Wanda Sykes but it wasn't enough to pull it out.
