What a great party Stephi threw. After a little mix up with the directions (my fault) we found the park and although it was cold it was not wet. The forecasters were wrong about the all-day rain. I have been to the West Branch 4th of July fireworks so I knew enough to bring my winter coat. There was a slew of Michigan sweatshirts (except mine was covered by my coat) so I was able to check on my family members from afar. Me and Rita stayed in our lawn chairs and ate and observed.
Gretchen brought Brian and Shawn and they seemed to have a great time. Jackson couldn't decide which direction to run first. There were so many kids to watch and try to follow. All the Nelsons were there. When I saw Lawson I asked "Which wife are you with today?" and he said "Let's see, who am I married to this week?" It was Janice. Mark and his wife of 12 years and their 3 kids were there. Brian (divorced from Margaret), and his 3 kids were there with his new girlfriend. Are you all sitting down? New girlfriend (of Brian, Dana's baby brother) had a grandchild with her.
There were various and sundry Winters relatives and it turned out we were celebrating Arn's birthday but Steph didn't tell us about that part. His relatives already knew tho. There were tons of food and it was a really terrific party.

Arn sure has a lot of birthdays! We celebrated his birthday when they were here. Maybe we need to check his birth certificate
It would seem that the birthday he celebrated out there was counted as a missed birthday by some of his relatives here. This was a makeup.
