Jeannette and I picked up our new cars together on Thursday. She sold her car on Monday night and since I was going on an overnight gambling trip Tuesday, she used my car for the next couple of days. Thursday afternoon she left work early and picked me up to go pick up our cars.
After the paperwork, our sales lady had them pulled up one behind the other in the service bay and it turns out they are exactly the same color. The names of the colors are different because they are two different models. Mine is a Focus and the color is Tundra, hers is a Fusion and the color had a different name.
When I looked at the color swatch, it was blueish grey. Now that it is sitting in front of my house in sunny, cloudy, rainy and even snowy weather, it looks mostly grey.
I love how clean it is, inside. I was never one to accumulate a lot of litter inside my car, but dust will out. And the day I wash windows inside my car is the day after I wash them inside my house.

Congratulations on all the newness in your life !
window washing is a waste of time. The last three cars I have had have not had their windows washed on the inside. God washes the outside here in Florida. I will admit to wiping the windshield on the inside with a dry napkin from either McDonalds or Subway as some kind of film builds up on the windshield. After the windshield wiping I feel "everything" is clean.
That is very funny. I remember a time when you and I had twin cars. our two little red Escorts would be parked one behind the other at work in Detroit.
Wow, I know exactly what it's like to have matching cars with someone. By pure coincidence, when I was looking for cars, I found one just like the one my friend was going to be driving. I bought it (it was a really good deal) and after he got the other up-and-running, we had twin cars, same color and all.
Oh, and believe me, youth isn't all it's cracked up to be! Sure things like that don't slow me down, but you gotta take the bad with the good I guess. I'll be glad if by the time I am your age that I will have half the memory you have; that really is a great gift!
