The previous chapter of this saga is in the Amazon Reader blog because somebody put these buttons too close to each other.
The good news is that Gretch and Gordon stopped by last night and he turned off the water intake valve that was leaking and my pan was dry this morning. Gordon called down from upstairs "which one" and I said "the one under the cold water faucet" so I'm assuming that's the one he turned off. While it did take care of the leaky problem, it is the hot water that doesn't come out and the cold water runs fine. Go figure.

Ours is not to question why. Ours is to but wash our hands in cold water.
Weren't the taps at Grandpa Beauregards backwards? Or just in French?
Not the ones at Grandpa's but possibly somewhere in Canada that you visited. Mayby Jacques and Andre's. And not so much backwards as you're right labled in french, C and F. And the C, of course meant hot.
No I think Adrienne is right, Grandpa installed someone's faucet and put the handles on the wrong ones. Check your handles, Gordon said it doesn't remember if it was the right or the left just that it was under the C.
It was the basement bathroom at Grandpa's that was wrong. Why do we all remember such a silly detail of our lives.
I bet if any of us had to we could draw out a complete lay out of that house including furniture. It holds good "family time"memories so we keep it close.
