cable company

Regarding my cable problem

on reflection in my bed last night I wondered if a connection behind my TV might have come loose and should I check that before I call the cable company. Thinking about the size of the TV and the difficulty of getting behind it I had almost decided not to check it and just call the cable people and let them come out here and check it. Then I got a good night's sleep.

Then this morning; thinking about how much they might want to charge me to come out and check my connections I decided to try to pull out the TV and check them myself. Really not as difficult as I had thought. It turns out there is room to sort of swivel the TV without actually having to remove it from its cubby hole. But the connections were fine.

I did call the cable company this morning and waited 17 minutes for Tiffany to say "Well Ma'am we are experiencing difficulty in your area and we are working on it." Arghhh.

Actually, "we are having difficulty in your area" is better than "we aren't." When we had some trouble (after the electrical storm) they told Lyle "Well, we aren't experiencing any difficulties in your area." And they left it at that. Obviously our problems were all imaginary.
