Surviving dryers

Vanauatu has a lot of tribal rites that I can live without. That part was pretty stupid for as much as they hyped it. At the first tribal council they said it was like day 3? Does that mean that they all survived without any drinking water for 3 days? And they never mentioned any of that. I would rather have seen a lot more of their day-to-day stuff than "rites of passage".

Thank you, Marty for the diagnosis on my dryer. I haven't tested it out yet. But I have learned that there are folk here that hire the maintenance people on their own time to do odd jobs and when I get back from Kewadin on Wednesday I'm going to give that a try.

Monica has gone back to Treasure Island hoping that the hurricane season is over for Florida. She said that Debbie has severe structural damage to her house (in Deltona) and they are living in a hotel until the end of September.

I am content with the last two standing on BB. Again, would rather have had more footage of the jury house than more speeches about "why you think the HOH should choose you". Those speeches are just so repetitive and useless. But maybe they are keeping the good stuff for people who pay for it on the internet.

Mirna and Shmirna were on Mad TV last night. Anybody catch them?

I didn't know Aunt Monica had left again. She wasn't seeking shelter at Debbie's, was she?

I missed the whole first Survivor but I did hear that the ritual was lame.

I saw Sharla and Mirna on the Emmy's last night (well, on the red carpet) with Colin and Christy. That makes me think that C&C won. I missed Mad TV, I will have to watch for reruns.

The model couple was there as well, they were standing down off the podium behind Star Jones. Colin looked stupid with his hair straight down. Christy looked beautiful, barely even recognized her.
