Keeping my powder dry

I did go back to Sears but this time I was armed with some model numbers and prices off the internet. I didn't see the salesman I talked to yesterday so already I felt reassured. There were two models on sale that I was interested in and I was glad that I could look at and compare them in person. The price differential was only $20.00 and I got the higher one. It had one extra knob on the top which to me was almost a deal killer (I like on and off) but the door opened down as opposed to sideways and I liked that part.

The dryer should be delivered and installed tomorrow. My salesman's name was Paul and he was my new best friend. Then as I was signing the credit card receipt he mentioned how glad he was that I came back after I had told him yesterday that I was going to shop around.

In other news, I have a huge pain in the neck. I think it might be from being caught in a draft at Kewadin but its lasting an awfully long time. There are many ordinary things that I am surprised I use my neck for. Like driving, typing on the computer, reading, and crocheting. I have been doing these things with impunity and last night I was beyond pain. It is much much better today and my plan is not to agrivate it. This will be my last trip to the computer today and I will spend the rest of the day watching tv without moving my head.

Well, at least the pain in the neck is not the Sear's guy. I am glad it all worked out and you will have a new dryer soon.

What are you crocheting?
