Oh, my God. I will not tape Comics one more time. I just saw a promo for the show featuring the dog and I'm afraid that might contaminate my tape.
I went dryer shopping this morning. I went to Best Buy and the sales guy was busy so I just looked around and there were nothing but electric dryers so I left. I went to Sears and the sales guy devoted himself to me and I couldn't stand him, so I left. I will try Lowe's this afternoon if I can make myself go back out.
The Sears guy (when talking about delivery and installation which was way too much money to please me) asked did I have a shut off valve and copper pipes because if I didn't they would not install it. I asked, how would I know if I had that and he said "You can see can't you." That's pretty much where he lost me. If I end up going back to Sears I would want another sales person. I don't remember what the guy looked like and certainly didn't get his name or anything so I figure I will have to go for a female sales person.
I did go downstairs and saw the shut off valve and copper pipes. At least I saw copper and there were three shut off valves, one of which I'm pretty sure is for the outside water faucets so the other two must be washer and dryer, right?

Just because they only have Elevtric on display doesnt mean you cant always get the same dryer in gas. Go back to Best Buy.
I did figure that out at Sears when the dryer he showed me was electric and he was quoting me prices etc. for gas. But I thought Best Buy could have had a sign or something to that effect.
My God woman, what do you want? Are you expecting a salesman to treat you like you have something to do with his pay check? Do you think you should be treated with respect just because you are the thumb that goes up or sown on this deal? Maybe you even think you deserve better just because that’s the way one human being should treat another.Your part of the problem if you are even thinking of going back to Sears.
Get with the program, they don’t give a damn about you are anything. He makes minimum wage so you need to go to his boss, who makes minimum +.10. When you get to the highest person in you local Sears store I’ll be you are not much above $10.00ph.
My choice is to shop on line.
I agree with Daddy, at least do the initial shopping on-line. There are some shopping comparison sites out there (I just read about them in GoodHousekeeping so look at Gretchen's copy) that will see who has the best price on a given item. Then you can always go to the store to look at it if you want, but this way you can compare the delivery charges too.
