And So It Starts

A few weeks ago Jeannette informed me that Marc's sister Theresa had died. I knew that she was ailing, but if I knew from what, I have forgotten now. She is the second one of those 13 siblings that reached adulthood to pass. She was 82 years old. She is survived by (in descending order) Lucille (86), Noella (84), John Robert (79), Julien (76), Marc (75), Pierrette (73), Andree (72), Gilles (71), Fleur Ange and Fleur Aimee (70), and Francine (64). Note the big jump between the twins and Francine was filled by two other children (MaTante Yvonne was no slacker) who died very young.

Yep, Yvonne was definitely no slacker with 13 kids! Who was the other that died as an adult?

His name was Laurent and he was my age. As infants we played in the same crib together. After growing up on the Canadaian farm he came to Detroit and worked in the Ford factory. He got a dibilating disease and lived most of his life in a recouperation home in Canada. He recieved Ford benifits all during his illness.
