Give me an M, Give me an R

I laid in the tube for a half hour and brought home a bunch of pictures. They don't look very flattering.

When I first laid down, they elevated my knees and I was quite comfortable. It only took a few minutes for the comfort to wear off and become dis-comfort and that eventually turned into pain. But me and pain are old friends and before we had visited very long the whole thing was over.

They helped me off the table and gave me a glass of water to take some aleve and a chair to wait for the films and I was on my way.

I don't think you mentioned the purpose of the MRI. Is it for back pain?

Sounds like Aleve (or Advil, or whatever) would be best taken a while BEFORE the procedure. Something I will try to keep in mind...like taking anti-barf medicine well before getting on something that will induce motion sickness.

Hope you're feeling better now.

Rest assured, I had taken Vicodin before the test. Aleve is something I take "in between" the hours of prescribed vicodin.
