We had a couple of days of weather in the 60s and I am thoroughly spoiled. Getting off the casino bus last night it was quite a bit colder than it had been when I got on at noon.
The full tank of gas that came with my car is almost gone and I saw gas at a reasonable price (the fact that I can call $2.46 a reasonable price means that George W. is truly winning) but I wouldn't stop and pump it because it was cold outside.
I figured if it went up 5 or 10 cents in the next couple of days (as it is wont to do) that's a dollar. I would have paid someone a dollar to pump that gas.

Our gas here went up from $2.58 to $2.64 overnight. But it is 76 degrees here and you can pump it yourself. Who knows what it will be tomorrow?
We have had that crazy weather too. Monday I took Jackson to school in a spring coat and ran home at lunch to get his winter coat because the temps dropped from 52 to 32. Today I had to put on his winter coat in the morning because it was 28 outside and I brought his spring coat because it was going up to 58. What a crazy place we live in.
I will be there again this weekend; if you can wait I can put gas in the car.
I paid $2.87 last week and am probably gonna pay $3.00 tomorrow!
This morning, out be my dentist in Canton gas was $2.75. I started to regret not pumping in the cold. Lucky for me (and a long line of other drivers) it was still $2.44 at Meijer's and I stood in line to get it.
I know all about that gas situation. I don't leave here much, so I don't need to fill up on gas all the time, but the last time I did, I paid $2.59, and that was almost two weeks ago. I'm just happy I'm not out and about in the car all the time, since the prices here are much higher than I've ever paid back home. Sometimes it does pay to be a college student.
Oh, and Erika, we're having that same kind of weather. Some mornings it starts out kind of warm, and by noon it's dropped more than 10 degrees! Then some mornings it's freezing and by noon it's in the 60s! I HATE it! Oh well... Here in a week or so it'll get back to just one stable temperature, God willing.
Damn! I knew I would need to fill up to drive to MI this weekend but on Wednesday I thought I would see it went down from $2.57. Yesterday it went to $2.79.
I am still coming, but damn!
Those mystifing prices, arrggg. I wonder how Bush is able to accomplish it?
