The good news is that my cabinets have been delivered and the installer has been notified but not scheduled as yet. Lauri, the maintenance lady suggested that I go over and put a note in the existing cabinet that I plan to have a dishwasher installed so they won't bolt in that particular cabinet.
Then she asked me if I had turned in that request to the improvement committee. I didn't think that a dishwasher was an authorized improvement but she wasn't sure about that.
It also turns out that a newly installed dishwasher has to be plumbed and electrified and stuff like that. I called Family Heating and the electrification will cost $150.00. They do not do the plumbing and have no idea what that might cost. I am starting to like my portable better and better.

Taj put ours in when we moved here. I bet between all the manly men you have surrounding you, they can figure it out.
