Remember when the temperature was 2? I had two 8/packs of plastic bottles and 2 12/packs of canned Diet Pepsi in my trunk. Now I have two 8/packs of frozen pepsi bottles and a big mess of frozen and broken cans all over the trunk. I couldn't figure out what the funny looking thing at the back of the trunk was. It looked like a small gas cap. It was the top of a pepsi can that had come clean off.
From this morning's shopping I left the chips and the crackers. At least they won't burst if they freeze.

For our Christmas party the other day Alfred (the host) decided he would be in charge of beverages. Well, in addition to his already full wine cellar he decided he should buy some soda, so he bought one 6-pack of 7-Up. Regular 7-Up. I said no problem I have some in my car so I went out and grabbed a plastic bottle of diet-caffeine-free-pepsi which looked fine. When I loosened the cap it basically exploded right in their living room. Serves him right, but I still didn't have anything to drink the whole night. I took the remainder of that 6-pack in the house when I got home and the next day they were still frozen.
I just have one word for you people--California.
