Finally broke in the dryer. For the first load I forgot a dryer sheet. First time in a long long time that has happened to me. This dryer has a cool down period before the buzzer goes off (oh, first time in a long long time for a buzzer too) so everything was nice and cool. I'm used to hot clothes. I just had to take out one nightgown and all the underwear came with it. If it had been dark out, I could have lit up the whole basement.
Toilet repair guy plunged and flushed. He didn't see any seeping water so I must have immagined it. The heck with them. What do I care if the floor gets ruined. One of the tiles behind the toilet is cracked to I don't think the seepage I noticed was the first time.
Today is Kelly's birthday. His email is kjsheedy@netzero.net

I never use dryer sheets anymore. I must not wear anything staticty.
Not using dryer sheets? Can not compute!! How can you not wear anything staticky? I would try it, but I am a chicken.
I am glad the new dryer is working OK. Can you disable the buzzer?
I'm not understanding these comments. It sounds like you guys are saying that its the dryer sheet that makes clothes staticy. I know you know better. I did learn that if you wait at least 24 hours before putting the clothes away, the static goes away. The buzzer (it says in the manual) will go off every five minutes but there is an on/off button for it. I like the buzzer. It beats getting up and going to stand at the top of the stairs to listen if the dryer is still going.
No no no. I know that the dryer sheet takes away the static, but I must not have staticky clothes because I dont use one and nothing sticks together after my load. I wear mostly cotton no nylon and very little polyester, so that is probably it.
Well, that explains it. Lyle could go the rest of his life without dryer sheets since he clothes stay in the dryer for at least two days before they get taken out.
