CBC my local Canadian TV station did a show called Test The Nation tonight. I took the test with them. It was a basic IQ test and any of you can take it by going to CBC.ca/testthenation. I think they said it would still be available on line.
Anyways, I am terrible at visual perception. Which shape goes next in a series. There were 12 of those and I got 7 of them wrong.
Another one I got wrong was: If this is Thursday, what is the third day after tomorrow? I would like to know who I can talk to to dispute their answer.
And still another I got wrong was which simple math problem had the highest answer and I picked 8 times 22. Well when it came time to see the answer it turned out it was 8 plus 22 and of course, was the wrong answer.
By their scoring system, which made allowances for age, my IQ is 124.

Very interesting test... My IQ was 113, but I know which ones I missed even without seeing the answers. I hesitated due to the time running out, so I just picked a couple of the answers.
That's actually funny that I got the score I did, because when it asked me my approximate IQ, I selected 110, not even knowing. I was pretty close, huh?
The "IQ" tests like that are a sham. Anyone can put something together and then assign numbers. You are at least 133 (my recollection is that that was Bernie's score) mine is 124 per a test taken over sixty years ago.
That test you took sixty years ago, was it not put together by someone and assigned numbers?
I think the last sanctioned IQ test I took did put me in the 130s but while slower perception and mistaking a plus sign for a times sign certainly makes me less effective I can accept the 124.
BTW if today is Thursday, what is the third day after tomorrow? I would like some opinions.
Tomorrow is Friday.
First day after tomorrow (Friday) is Saturday.
Second day = Sunday.
Third day = Monday.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
I agree with Paulette and I agree with tim.
Monday is the answer I gave but they said it was Tuesday. I pondered this several times in the last week and determined that I must have read the question wrong.
It might have said "the third day after the day after tomorrow".
