California Visit

From Adrienne's and Marisa's comments on my last post it looks like they would like me to come out to visit during the time that Ris' baby is due. Don't you people understand that I am not a person that can come out to help? I am another person that gets in the way and needs to be taken care of. I was laughing about it with some friends at dominos today and one of them said "Tell them to call you when he's big enough to push your wheelchair."

I won't wait that long, but I don't want to be underfoot when all the excitement is happening either.

I just saw a cool Judge Mathis. I guy was suing for his engagement ring back because his fiance had a baby by somebody else. Judge said "Was your engagement already off when she got pregnant?" and he said "No, I never called the engagement off, I just wanted a break, but I never called it off." Judge said, you never called it off, and he said no. Good, says Judge, so you're still engaged and don't need the ring back. Case dismissed.

I tried to post this this morning but blogger would not let me. You could not be more wrong. You are the best at not being underfoot. You know how to get out of the way. I don't know why you don't see it, but just having you around makes us all feel better. It makes us feel stronger. It makes us feel that we can handle anything.

We don't need you to help. We just need you there.

p.s. I think the judge should have married them on the spot or made her give the ring back.

You could hold my hand while I hold Risa's.
